Mason & Oak was established out of frustration with the growing number of generic, volume-driven survey reports being produced across the industry. Too often, building surveys have become standardised tick-box exercises, rushed inspections paired with templated reporting that fails to properly reflect the individual property or the concerns of the client purchasing it.

We believe a building survey should provide meaningful professional advice, not simply satisfy a process. Every property has its own history, construction methods, defects, and risks, and every client has different priorities, concerns, and future intentions for the building they are purchasing. Mason & Oak was created to offer a more considered, detailed, and client-focused approach.
